A disability can often prevent an individual from experiencing travel or simply having time away to relax on holiday. This will, by extension, mean that family members miss out on holiday experiences as well. 

At World Accessible Holidays we work with  professionals to ensure that everyone, regardless of additional needs has the opportunity to rest and recharge away from home.

Holiday companies do not routinely publish or advertise accessibility information and therefore finding a suitable holiday can be quite a challenge. We have put together a database of hotels and resorts that cater for people with different disabilities and we use this to find the perfect holiday for case managers clients, ensuring that their needs are catered for throughout the holiday process.

Find the resort and hotel that meets the needs of the client and their family.
Whether there is a need for multiple rooms for supporting care workers; interconnecting rooms for family; specific accessibility and equipment requirements, coupled with general holiday wishes such as plenty for children to do or a programme of evening entertainment – we have got it covered. We appreciate that every disability is different and work with the case manager, the individual and the family to make sure everything is right. Holidays need to be something that everybody looks forward to going on.

GUARANTEED ACCESSIBLE ROOM

Guarantee an accessible room prior to booking and then liaising with the hotel regarding any specific requirements.
High street tour operators, in the vast majority, do not allow an accessible room to be booked and this requirement is only classed as a request. We understand that for clients with disabilities this is simply not a practical or acceptable situation. We work with the hotels in-resort to guarantee the necessary accessible accommodation prior to booking the holiday.

Use the most cost effective tour operator.
We work with the mainstream tour operators as they always offer the best value for money due to the fact that they operate their own planes. To keep prices down we ‘tailor’ the holidays that are on general sale to ensure all accessibility requirements are met.

AIRLINE AND AIRPORT ASSISTANCE

Organise airport assistance and ensure that any ‘person specific’ in-flight requirements are dealt with.
We organise everything. The client simply needs to arrive at the airport safe in the knowledge that all assistance requests have already been taken care of. Also, we will liaise with airlines regarding travelling with specialist medical equipment and will organise any additional luggage requirements along with ensuring that the airline is aware of any wheelchair and specialist aircraft seating specifications.

GIve easy to understand price comparisons so that the additional cost of a disability is clearly represented.
Our pricing will always show the general sale cost of a family holiday and the additional costs associated with a client’s disability, whether that is additional rooms for support workers or ‘in-resort’ equipment hire costs.

Holidays can be paid for flexibly. We are happy to take payments from your client, we can invoice charities and solicitors or a combination of all these.
