Overview
7 days exploring Iceland's southern coast
The 7-Day South Coast Sensation tour takes travellers on a week-long, privately guided tour around Iceland’s picturesque southern coast, taking in the country’s most cinematic and striking landscapes. Guests will be accompanied by a knowledgeable local driver/guide who will facilitate journeys between stops as well as provide local knowledge and insight throughout the trip. Over the course of the week, travellers will take in the historical sights of Reykjavik, the landscapes of Þingvellir National Park, Europe’s largest ice cap (Vatnajökull glacier), Eldhraun Lava Field, and relax in the world-renowned Blue Lagoon, and more. Vehicles are accessible with ramp-access and secure wheelchair spaces, and accommodation is verified for accessibility, ensuring peace of mind throughout your tour.
Accessible experiences along the way are also verified, for example, the world famous Blue Lagoon has an accessible changing room and a wheelchair used to access the water, Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon includes an amphibian boat tour which boards from flat ground, and Þingvellir National Park features accessible boardwalks through the rift valley between the North American and European tectonic plates. We know that no two people’s needs are the same, thats why the tour is fully customisable to meet your needs, we work directly with local suppliers on the ground to ensure the tour runs smoothly.

What shapes the price
- Departure dates. Departure dates vary throughout the year, with spring and autumn often being the most popular travel periods. Peak holiday seasons and major events may carry higher pricing and reduced availability.
- Number of travellers. Two, four or six people sharing the same vehicle and guide brings the per-person cost down.
- Accommodation tier. Choose between verified standard hotels, authentic riads in the heart of the medina, or 5-star luxury throughout. We'll show you the options side by side.
- Flight availability. We'll find the right route from your nearest UK airport and pre-book Special Assistance with the airline.
- Equipment hire. The Joelette wheelchair, beach wheelchair, mobile hoist, and any other kit you need is added at cost.
