Overview

Experience Uganda's expansive national parks and wonderful wildlife

This itinerary has been thoughtfully designed for travellers who want the full depth of Uganda’s wildlife and landscapes without compromise, at a pace that allows genuine rest between experiences. Travellers will have the opportunity to view Rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and magnificent gorillas, hippos and giraffes at three additional wildlife hotspots: Murchison Falls Natl. Park, Queen Elizabeth Natl. Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable Natl. Park, home to Uganda’s world-famous great apes.

Every property, transfer, and activity has been selected with accessibility in mind, and our dedicated porter stretcher team is
arranged in advance for the Bwindi gorilla trekking sector to ensure the experience is available to travellers with limited mobility, exactly as it should be.

Days are intentionally uncrowded. Long drives are broken into shorter, more comfortable segments, mornings
begin later than a typical safari schedule, and each destination is given enough time to be felt rather than
rushed through.

Highlights

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Here you’ll have the opportunity to view Uganda’s only population of southern white rhinos, some of the most unique animals on the planet. You’ll also be able to stay overnight at the sanctuary in an accessible lodge, waking up to the expansive Ugandan countryside

Murchison Falls National Park

Uganda’s largest national park, Murchison Falls, is home to wide expanses of savannah, and striking views of a seven metre gorge where the mighty nile rushes through the wilderness.

Queen Elizabeth National Park

This national park offers travellers two unique wildlife experiences. First, you’ll be able to cruise along the Kazinga Channel and view one of the largest concentrations of Hippos in Africa, and second, an opportunity to drive through the Ishasha area of the park to see tree climbing African Lions.

Gorilla Trekking

Arguably Uganda’s most famous attraction is its large population of native Gorillas. Western Uganda, including the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, is home to a large number of Gorillas, which visitors can view during a guided trek with expert local guides. We work with trusted local partners to ensure seamless accessibility on all excursions with assistance available throughout the trek.
