Welcome to Peru! On arrival your party will be collected from Lima International and taken to your hotel, you will then have time to relax before an introduction and briefing about the tour ahead.

What you'll do

Today you'll discover Peru's capital on a fascinating guided tour. From architectural gems to historic sites and vibrant shopping/residential districts, Lima has so much to discover! You'll visit sites including the Cathedral Basilica of Lima, and the renowned Larco Museum to experience its massive collection of Pre-Columbian and indigenous art and archaeology. You will then continue your tour through Lima's vibrant coastal neighbourhoods before being left to experience local Peruvian dining.

What you'll do

Today you'll take to the skies on a morning flight, which we will manage alongside expert tour partners on the ground, to Cusco, both the ancient capital of the Inca empire and a modern city set in the mountains of south western Peru. From Cusco you'll be accompanied on a drive through the sacred valley where you'll enjoy lunch amongst the mountains before continuing on to your hotel, the evening will be spent relaxing after a day of travel, but will also include a short introduction to the Sacred Valley area and its highlights.

What you'll do

Today you'll visit three of the most prominent sites in the Sacred Valley. First, the Maras Salt Mines, where you'll be able to view hundreds of salt ponds and the surrounding mountainous landscape from an accessible viewpoint. Then it's on to the panoramic Viewpoint of Moray, an Incan agricultural centre famous for its traditional Incan structures. Finally you'll get up close to the Incan ruins at Ollantaytambo, home to the towering Temple of the Sun. These ruins will be accessed using specialist off road wheelchairs ensuring stress-free exploring.

Later you'll get to enjoy a panoramic view of the breathtaking Písac ruins complex, located at 3300 metres above sea level, before returning to your hotel in the late afternoon.

Today you'll visit Peru's most famous historical site, the once lost towering mountainside ruins of Machu Picchu. You will need to take a train to the site of Machu Picchu, but assistance will be available and this process will be expertly managed by us, alongside trusted local partners. Once you arrive at the site, off road wheelchairs will be available for use during your visit, ensuring you can marvel at the ruins without worrying about accessibility issues. The tour will cross the Machu Picchu citadel in a way that ensures easy access as well as a breathtaking view

Today you'll leave the sacred valley and head for Cusco. Along the way you'll be able to experience the Incan ruins of Qenqo and Puca Pucara, both fascinating historical sites, where you'll have a guided tour. Next you'll enjoy lunch in the mountains nearby to the fortress of Sacsayhuaman, where massive stones remain unmoved for centuries. Around mid-afternoon you will check into your accommodation in the centre of Cusco, with time to go out and discover the town.

What you'll do

Explore Cusco on a private city tour! The tour will take you to all the major sights of Cusco, including Cusco Cathedral and its collection of colonial art, as well as the court of gold, the religious and political centre of Incan Cusco. After the city tour, you will be able to freely explore Cusco in the afternoon and evening before your last night in Peru.
