Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a spacious, Caribbean-themed Moderate resort at Walt Disney World, Florida. Guests are welcomed at Old Port Royale, the resort’s central hub. The resort comprises five sections: Barbados, Martinique, Aruba, Jamaica, and Trinidad, known as “Islands” by Cast Members. All areas are accessible via pathways, with an internal shuttle bus also available.
Old Port Royale houses the Front Desk/Guest Services, Centertown Market food court and the resort’s restaurants and bars which are Sebastian’s Bistro, Calypso Trading Post, Banana Cabana bar. The main feature pool is called Fuentes del Morro. The entire area is wheelchair accessible, with step-free or ramped access and accessible restrooms in the lobby and Centertown Market.
Fuentes del Morro, themed as an ancient Caribbean fort and has a shallow entry as well as a pool hoist. There are also hot tubs with pool hoists. Each of the 5 islands also has a quiet pool featuring a chair type pool hoist.
You can get to the Disney theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs on the Disney bus system and each resort has a stop, with the furthest park about 15 minutes away. All buses have wheelchair ramps, and bus stops include wheelchair areas which prioritise guests with wheelchairs. If you want to go to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios you can get the Disney Skyliner cable car which is fully accessible and will take you in your private gondola straight into these parks.
There are a number of different accessible bedroom types available dependant on party size at this resort. These either have a roll in shower or bathtub with additional grab rails. We organise the appropriate type based on individual needs.
